I am boycotting Gamestop. They dissed PC gaming so hard and whenever I go in there all the staff are rabid 360 fanboys. They even criticize PC versions when I have got them. I'm just like dude you have never tried a pc game in your life quit hating. The graphics on my computer blow consoles out of the water and mouse and keyboards are the way to go. But I digress...Fuk gamestop.
Read the IGN review I would seriously recommend you get the first mass effect before playing the second. EA is selling the first one for $10 on PC and if you have a 360 you can probably get it for cheaper at gamestop.
To just FPS' by MW2 is just wrong. If you had said COD4 then I'd be like okay well you just don't like the genre but you owe it to yourself to actually get a good game to judge the genre. You may not like twitch shooters of which COD, Halo and Resistance are. Killzone 2, MAG and Team Fortress 2 offer class based leveling which you may appreciate from an RPG perspective. The former 2 are also weightier than the twitch shooter so you have to work to get your kills.
To reduce this game to 256 players is a disservice to the game. It has a lot more going for it than people are giving it credit for. The structure isn't just run and gun like most fps'. It is very tactical it forces you to play as a team. The leveling up is sweat and the ability to respec is really great I wish ME had that. So many times you level up and then realize that what you thought would be sweet actually sucks.
I have a PC but I will be buying MAG on the release day. I have been itching to play it since I realized the beta didn't transfer stats and quit playing it. Mass Effect will probably get cheap quickly since that is how 360/PC games go. PS3 games are slow burners and take forever to get cheap, unless the games suck eg SOCOM.
I applaud his honesty not that I condone his actions. If a whole article on being able to download the title early wasn't bannable then I doubt this would be. Besides did you see the download numbers for MW2 there are obviously a lot of people like this guy.
At least the more important thing (porn) is still working. HD porn on a bigscreen = win.
The big difference is that MW2's main feature is multiplayer. People play that for 100's of hours, this you may play 2 maybe 3 times.
The minimum graphics requirement is 256 Mb. It should play if your computer is that new.
On what? Going to all the question marks in a sh1tty vehicle to get some insignia? Visiting Mines that are all pretty much the same. Surveying Planets to get find all the elements. It gets really repetitive after the first few systems.
No, I think many of the viruses found on windows are because of interenet explorer which Mac's don't use.
I dual boot. Laptop with Vista and Ubuntu and PC with win7 and Ubuntu. But dual booting with windows slows ubuntu down noticably. I can't explain it but Ubuntu isn't as fast when you dual boot. And to the dude above who says mac and linux have vulnerablities every bit as bad as windows you're full of sh1t. Do you even know about root?? And lets also mention that there are 863 viruses on linux (which are fixed in the operating system when they're found and don't just get patched) compared...
I would be content with the 360 getting Bully 2 exclusive.
I don't think it's fair to put it like that. Let me correct you GTA:IV sold as many copies to a PS3 install base that was a third of the size of the 360's.
They actually haven't come out and officially said it will be on the 360. Maybe that is this year's Microsoft stealing a Sony exclusive E3 news.

I think trophies are the best achievement system out there. I mean PC/Steam's is just a weak ripoff of the xbox's. The 360's is just a number. What I like about the trophies is 1 the sound you hear when you get one and 2 the platinum trophies and 3 the ability to compare on multiple levels like hey he is level 10 but all his trophies are bronze and silver where as someone else can also be on level 10 but has a bunch of platinums and golds. But at the end of the day do they matter? Not on...
